Yesterday closed the run of The National Ballet of Canada’s mixed program featuring the Canadian premiere of Wayne McGregor’s Chroma, along with George Balanchine’s Serenade and Crystal Pite’s Emergence. McGregor’s acclaimed work was created in 2006 for The Royal Ballet (England), featuring a score by British composer Joby Talbot and set design by acclaimed architect John Pawson. The National Ballet of Canada is the first company to perform the work outside its originators, offering two different casts during the November 24 through 28 run.First cast: Aleksandar Antonijevic, Greta Hodgkinson, Tanya Howard, Zdenek Konvalina, Noah Long, Tina Pereira, Brendan Saye, Robert Stephen, Dylan Tedaldi and Bridgett Zehr.
