Trial & Eros - Four Quartets @ Agora de la danse & Tangente

Tonight in Sherbrooke, Québec, Deborah Dunn kicks off a tour of her most recent work Four Quartets (2009). Choreographed and performed by Dunn, Four Quartets is comprised of four solos inspired by T.S. Eliot’s celebrated set of poems of the same name. According to the company’s website this work marks a break from Dunn’s traditionally narrative works, and has “allowed Deborah to develop her fascination for the relationship between movement and language.” Be sure to check out the May 2007 issue of The Dance Current print magazine for a feature on Deborah Dunn.
