Farruca features Fin de Fiesta Flamenco artistic director and choreographer, Lia Grainger, together with fellow Canucks Dennis Duffin on guitar and Lara Wong on flute.
It’s a taste of the mostly Canadian group, now working out of Seville, Spain, who have made a reputation for themselves with their energetic performances and skillful improvisations. Fin de Fiesta Flamenco are about to embark on a twenty-two stop tour in Ontario and British Columbia with their new work, Audacia, a look through from the past to the present of flamenco, with an emphasis on the genre’s bold energy.
