Tomorrow, the Vancouver-based contemporary dance company The Response kicks off its December 7th through 10th run of Portraits and Scenes of Female Creatures. This is the company’s second full-length work and is choreographed by Artistic Director Amber Funk Barton.The show features dancers Laura Avery, Dianne Doan, Lina Fitzner and Lisa Gelley, and follows the four women lost at sea. The atmosphere is one of loss and grief as they transform into sea creatures.
