A Moving

A Moving

A Moving is Vancouver-based artist Paul Wong’s most recent dance-oriented work, produced with choreographer Rob Kistos and composer Martin Gotfrit.  A Moving was performed as part of The Morris and Helen Belkin Art Gallery’s exhibition: “Letters: Michael Morris and Concrete” and is part of Wong’s long history of working with dancers and choreographers, including Steve Paxton and Helen Goodwin. The title A Moving is taken from a discussion in 1982 between Monroe Beardsley, Sally Banes and Noel Carroll about the nature of what constitutes dance movement. Performed by Katie DeVries, Rob Kitsos, Kim Stevenson on March 29, 2012 at the Morris and Helen Belkin Art Gallery, Vancouver, BC.
