Lydia Zimmer is a Montréal-based dance artist who uses social media platorms to self-present choreography. 

Zimmer, a graduate of Walnut Hill School for the Arts, joined The Boston Conservatory Dance Division in 2007 where she received her BFA. Relocating to Los Angeles from 2011 to 2013, Zimmer was featured solo artist at the Boston Contemporary Dance Festival in August 2014, and performed a premiere work for Chavi Bansal (Netherlands). She created her premiere evening length work Bonne Nuit for CRAWL at White Box Art Centre in NYC in 2014. She was a previous teacher, choreographer and rehearsal director for Halifax Dance’s Young Company.
