From March 18th through 20th, the South Asian dance company inDANCE will be performing Hari Krishnan’s 2009 work Box at Fleck Dance Theatre in Toronto. This work reprises seven works from the company’s repertoire, highlighting their innovations over the past decade. The work features dancers Nalin Bisnath and Julie Neuspiel. Their website further describes the work: “Facing off on hybrid identities. Smudging the binaries between colored/white, marginal/mainstream, against a sonic backdrop of rhythmic syllables from Bharatanatyam dance.”
