Festival of New Dance 2013

The Festival of New Dance by Neighbourhood Dance Works is in its twenty-third year of featuring contemporary dance in St. John’s, Newfoundland. Taking place this year October 8 through 13, the festival is the largest east of Quebec and has become one of the premier festivals of contemporary dance in the country.

2013 programming includes Liklik Pik by George StamosChain Link Again by Jacinte Armstrong, Electric City by Sarah Joy Stoker and Boyd Chubbs, Magic Valley by Maya M Carroll, Trio for Musician, Dancer and Double Bass by Sasha Ivanochko, Dream by Kittiwake Dance Theatre, Cow One, Cow Two by Catherine Wright, Complexe des genres by Virginie Brunelle, Waving is Funny by Tina Fushell, Dance Me by Liz Solo, RAW- me by Manuel Roque, MORTIFIED by Jenn Goodwin and Camilla Singh and, featured as today’s video, Hero & Heroine by Amber Funk Barton.
