Dare to Dance: Mayan Frost

The results are in! Westview Centennial Secondary School took home the win for Outstanding Choreography, Thematic Expression, and Performance at Toronto District School Board’s (TDSB) Dare to Dance Final Challenge. Check out this video of the winning piece, Mayan Frost, at the semi-final challenge. The final event, held at Toronto’s Centre for the Arts on December 8th, was hosted by singer/singwriter Jully Black and included guest performances by Luca “Lazylegz” Patuelli, UNITY Charity and Canadian Children’s Dance Theatre. In total, twelve finalist teams performed for an esteemed panel of judges comprised of Luther Brown, Allen Kaeja and Debbie Nicholls-Skerritt.
