Danse Lhasa Danse :: par son concepteur, Pierre-Paul Savoie

PPS Danse is about to embark on tour with Danse Lhasa Danse, a creation by Pierre-Paul Savoie that pays homage to singer Lhasa De Sela. Co-directed with Louise Beaudoin, and with musical direction by Denis Faucher, the work brings together musicians, singers and dancers, notably Myriam Allard, Hélène Blackburn, Pierre Lecours, David Rancourt, Pierre-Paul Savoie, Roger Sinha and Edgar Zendejas. Their tour kicks off with the Luminato Festival in Toronto on June 19th, where additional singers and dancers will join the cast, and then takes to Montréal on July 11th. In the fall, they perform in Québec City (QC) on October 23rd, Baie-Comeau (QC) on October 26th, Sept-Îles (QC) on October 27th, Rimouski (QC) on October 29th, Saguenay (QC) on November 1st, and Halifax (NS) on November 8th. Into 2014, they hit St-Albert (AB) on January 14th, Whitehorse (YT) on January 20th, and Salaberry-de-Valleyfield (QC) on January 31st.
