Lisa's exercises on the CoreChair


The Core Chair was inspired by the growing use of exercise balls as office chairs. Its goal: overcome the shortcomings of office chairs and create an active sitting environment for added comfort and core muscle stimulation. The chair has a sculpted seat with low-back support made of moulded contoured foam, and is designed to support the body and rotate the pelvis forward, putting the spine in a neutral upright position – similar to the pelvis’s position when standing. Each seat has controls to adjust height, seat depth and resistance for pivoting in all directions. Here, personal trainer Lisa Forsyth demonstrates exercises for the Core Chair.
