Albeit an American rally doing The Wave, check out the collective joy in anticipation of President Obama’s September speech about Health Care reform. This type of celebratory coordinated movement of a large group can provide an exultant feeling of being larger than oneself. It is this “incommunicable thrill” that author Barbara Ehrenreich discusses on the CBC Radio program Tapestry (embedded below).
