The Dec/Jan 09/10 issue of The Dance Current print magazine, features an article on social dancing by Kristin Harris Walsh, highlighting the various practices and reasons we Canadians are drawn to these fun community activities. Incidentally, the cover photo was provided by Bees’ Knees Dance.On this note, Bees’ Knees Dance has locations in both Toronto and St. Catharines (ON) where adults are welcome to try their first steps in a variety of social and theatrical styles. In fact, they offer your first class for free! Tomorrow is an open house day of classes for all those newbies looking to kick start their New Year’s resolution. No experience or partner is required. Drop in between 1pm and 4pm to try out: Solo Rock n’ Roll “Jazz”, Amateur Musical Theatre, Beginner Rock n’ Roll, Beginner Swing, Intermediate Lindy Hop, and Blues.
