Care for a little night dance by Paul-André Fortier? This video is a glimpse into the 2015 iteration of Fortier Danse-Création’s mysteriously calming 15 X LA NUIT. In a work that has been presented over the years in a variety of atypical outdoor locations in a fifteen night-long run format, this video follows dancer Manuel Roque in the intense summer heat of Montréal as part of OFF-FTA. This work, which draws from inspiration from its nocturnal urban environment, was originally created by Paul-André Fortier on dancer Simon Courchel and will be presented this spring on dancer Naishi Wang.
