Submit photos and recipes for editorial consideration. This is primarily a call for more playful content that reflects various improvisations to dance practices across Canada during the COVID-19 quarantine. We define “quarantine-themed submissions” as those that fall within the scope of the self-isolation and social distancing parameters recommended by the Public Health Agency of Canada during COVID-19.
The Dance Current team has been working remotely since Friday, March 13, 2020. We are fortunate that most of our operations can be conducted remotely and that we can continue our publishing activities during COVID-19.
Join The Dance Current on Friday, February 28th from 4-5:30 pm for a panel discussion titled ‘Lost in Translation: Punk, Whack, Waacking, W(h)acking?’. The panel will be followed by the launch of our March/April 2020 issue at the 28th annual Festival of Original Theatre conference at the University of Toronto campus. The event location is accessible. This is a free and public event but space will be limited.
