WAREHAUS Dance Collective’s Continuum

There are lots of upcoming screen dance festivals in Canada this Summer. Continuum, WAREHAUS Dance Collective’s recent collaboration with filmmaker David Phu, will premiere at the Festival of Recorded Movement (FORM) on June 17, at the Goldcorp Centre for the Arts in Vancouver. The Dance Current has also included a survey list of new, ongoing and upcoming Canadian screen dance festivals and showings.


Dancing their way toward a unique choreographic language, James Gregg and RubberLegz have joined forces and styles to collaborate on an intricate duet, Fall.

Git Hayetsk: The Lives Behind the Dance

For members of Git Hayetsk, dance is so much more than rehearsal and performance. The film Git Hayetsk: The Lives Behind the Dance looks at the strong dance family ties that have been formed through shared passion and history.
