In What We Are Saying (WWAS), Ame Henderson and her collaborators attempt to share their “desire to invent new ways of being together.”

Marina and Ulay

Performance artist Marina Abramović met performance artist Ulay (Uwe Laysiepen) in 1976, launching an intense love story and creative collaboration that ran through the 1980s. They re-connected on the last day of Abramović’s The Artist is Present in 2010. Abramović is a featured performer at this year’s Luminato Festival running June 14 - 23 in Toronto.
