dance Immersion Workshop Series presents West African Drum and Dance Classes with M’Bemba Bangoura. M’Bemba Bangoura has been a resident instructor and performer in the Toronto community for many years. Mr. Bangoura is a native of Guinea, West Africa, where he began learning the traditional music and dances of his village from a young age. He was a member of Les Ballets Africains and the Ballet of Conakry, in the nation’s capital of Guinea. He has played with Ballet Djoliba, working with other drummers to created the Ballet’s musical arrangements.  There are workshops for children and adults in either drum or dance and pricing options ranging from individual classes to two-day passes.  To register and for full pricing and schedule details visit the dance Immersions website.
