TO Live presents Uptown Moves, an inspiring new Canadian/International double-bill presentation featuring Human Body Expression (Canada) and Art Project BORA (Korea). Tickets avaiable here.

Renowned for creating stunning work based in contemporary dance, film, performance art, music, and fashion, Seoul-based choreographer, Bora Kim, brings the North American premiere Tail Language to North America for the first time. Toronto choreographer, Hanna Kiel, remounts her acclaimed work, Chasing the Path (winner, 2018 Dora Mavor Moore Award, Outstanding Original Choreography), tapping into her personal experience of loss, and asking how we move into the present while still mired in grief.

For the Sunday May 12 matinee performance there will be a pre-performance Artist Talk on Korean dance with one of the leading figures in the Korean–Canadian cultural scene Mi Young Kim and Hanna Kiel starting at 1:15pm. Then, join Bora Kim and Hanna Kiel for a Q&A session following the show revealing more about their creative process and dance careers. Both the pre-show artist talk and talk-back are included with the Sunday performance ticket.
