Studio 7 is a platform providing an environment to share work in progress and receive feedback for emerging artists in Montréal. Presented by the Concordia University Department of Contemporary Dance, Studio 7 aims to provide students with a transition space between school and the professional world.

There was a soft calmness to the dark theatre space of Agora de la danse as a mixed audience entered to see Cas Public’s Suites Ténébreuses / The Monsters, co-created by choreographer Hélène Blackburn and lighting designer Lucie Bazzo.
This year marks the tenth anniversary of Festival TransAmériques, and Montréal-based dancer and choreographer Louise Lecavalier is turning the stage into an imaginary battleground, diving into nine rounds of virtual combat with dancer Robert Abubo.
