Public Energy Performing Arts is looking for up to 50 people to participate in an outdoor community dance work commissioned from Bill Coleman to celebrate our 25th anniversary. Bill is one of Canada’s most accomplished creators of outdoor, large-scale dance works and this is your chance to be a part of his next creation.
At first glance, the set of Dollhouse is its own cause for concern, a booby-trapped mess of wires, ladders, mousetraps and sound equipment. Coleman staggers through the chaos, knocking down tables and yanking wires, leaving a trail of destruction in his wake.
The Dec/Jan 09/10 issue of The Dance Current print magazine includes a photo feature of the Peterborough-based community dance project Old Men Dancing, as well as an online interview with their members.
