Phantom of the Opera – The ballet, inspired by the story by Gaston Leroux, is set to the music of French composer Francis Poulenc. The production features choreography from Igor Dobrovolskiy, and was a sell-out across Europe. This is the Atlantic Ballet’s most popular production. It will tour to eleven different Canadian cities in Nova Scotia, Quebec and New Brunswick. See the touring schedule here: https://www.atlanticballet.ca/en/performances-and-events-en/.

Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet’s Going Home Star – Truth and Reconciliation, choreographed by Mark Godden with original music composed by Christos Hatzis, was inspired by a story by Joseph Boyden about a young aboriginal woman, her multiple identities in the modern world and the trauma caused by violence against indigenous people
