Become a certified Kaeja Elevations® Teacher. Kaeja Elevations® (KE) is an approach to partnering where all genders, experience and physique are on a level playing field. Rooted in contact improvisation, KE relies on the architectural structure of two bodies interacting while complimented by gravity, momentum, propulsion, breath and flow. Best suited for Grades 6-12 and art schools. In this 5-day course, participants will learn the tools needed to teach students and dancers to work collectively to safely soar through the air and surpass their expectations. All certified teachers receive the following: A certificate of completion (annual renewal fees apply), the ability to advertise themselves as a certified KE teacher, a listing on the Kaeja d’Dance website highlighting them as a registered KE teacher, and online access to the digital KE video library including tutorials, demonstrations, and KE in performance. For more info go to www.kaeja.org/certification. Kaeja Elevations is defined and created by Allen Kaeja, and developed from over three decades of refined exploration and collaboration with Karen Kaeja. *Note: special pricing is available for those who have studied with Allen in the past for a minimum of two workshops.
