Peggy Baker Dance Projects presents an evening of contemporary dance with live music to celebrate a world balanced by dualities. Choreographers Peggy Baker and Paul-André Fortier collaborate to bring you he : she, a compilation of four different choreographies including two world premiers. The show features dancers Peggy Baker, Ric Brown, Sean Ling, Sahara Morimoto, Andrea Nann and Mateo Galindo Torres.
While (thankfully) not a physicalized ode to quests for empirical knowledge, locus plot excels as a poetic transposition of chemistry in its humanist and even larger-than-life form, and the beginning of the full-length work illustrates this perfectly.
Featuring six dancers, Baker’s newest work explores the fluid nature of memory to live music composed and performed by John Kameel Farah.
