The 18th Annual Guelph Dance Festival hosts eighteen dance companies in nine performances in five venues. This festival promises to define gravity in new ways from dances on ice to dances from trees.
Highlights include the pay-what-you-can In the Park series in Exhibition Park and new this year, Hanlon Creek Park; On the Stage A featuring Le Patin Libre an ice dancing troupe; On the Stage B with longtime Canadian dance artists Julia Sasso and Suzanne Miller; the intimate In the Studio show featuring Sara Porter; and Youth Moves, featuring nine youth companies from Southern Ontario. There are also educational opportunities for people of all ages. For a full schedule of events visit guelphdance.ca.
