Denise Fujiwara’s adaptation of Christian Bök’s book of conceptual poetry is a multimedia experience of dance, video, music and costume. EUNOIA takes the audience on a verbal, visual and visceral journey. The conceit of the poem is introduced through games and then builds in complexity with fanciful narratives and semiotic play.

The first choreographic adaptation of Christian Bök’s pièce de résistance, his conceptual prose poem Eunoia (2001), as conceived by Denise Fujiwara is tremendously delightful, witty and entertaining, yet nevertheless … somehow … a letdown.
