Dancing on the Edge, a contemporary dance festival, takes place July 3-12 at various locations across Vancouver. Full programs include Crumbling by Matthew Romantini, Feast by Katie DeVries, solo | soul by Karen Jamieson Dance, The Three Cornered Hat by Mascall Dance, works by Ottawa Dance Directive, The Body in Question by Toronto Dance Theatre, Four Intimate Pieces by Edmond Kilpatrick, what belongs to you by Vanessa Goodman and Native Girl Syndrome by Lara Kramer.

Mixed programs include EDGE One with a crazy kind of hope by Sarah Chase and Andrea Nann, Dominique by Paulo Lima and Northern Journey by Michelle Olson; EDGE Two with a slow awkward by Ziyian Kwan, Natalie by Plastic Orchid Factory and Spine of the Mother (solo excerpt) by Starr Muranko; EDGE Three with The Fitzner Sister by Caroline Liffmann, Ruminate by Meredith Kalaman and The Melon Project by Arash Khakpour; EDGE-UP with Itch by Deanna Peters, Tessellate by Thoenn Glover, Conversation by Olivia C. Davies and Rain Collector by Dupuis Dance.

Site work includes Dusk Dances with work from various artists, Veritas.trUth by Karissa Barry, Family Dinner by Justine Chambers, Dance Machine by Su-Feh Lee and Wreck Beach Butoh by Kokoro Dance.
