Cantos para los insaciables is a ritualistic solo, a quest for lost fragments, a yearning to once again reach the cosmic orgasm. Alejandro Sajgalik builds a bridge that links this peak experience with feelings of insatiability that found solace in addiction. Creating a solitary polyphonic chant and transcending the objecthood and kitsch of a handed-down accordion, he intensifies his vibration.

Belles bêtes weaves a tale of the evolution of Homo sapiens from their cellular origins to their digital apparition. It’s a form of liberation. All is white and beige – costumes, canvas-covered floor, back wall screen – creating hospitable surfaces for lively abstract video images and body mapping projections captured by infrared cameras and cast onto the moving performers.
