Toronto BuskerFest, Canada’s largest street performers festival, returns to the Downtown Yonge Neighbourhood (Queen to College), Thursday, August 27 to Sunday, August 30.

Hercinia Arts Collective (Toronto). Created by a group of dance, aerial and theatre performers in 2009, the group has a new aerial dance show that involves an aerial rig and illustrates the magic of machines, invention and flight in new and unusual ways. The collective includes Natalie Parkinson (dance teacher and choreographer), Molly Keczan (dance teacher) and Meg Boland (York BFA in dance) and Emily Hughes (worked with Toronto Aerial Dance). Isabella Hoops (Toronto).

Bella doesn’t just hula-hoop, she brings her own style of dance and rhythm to the hoop to create an extraordinary performance – charming, flirtatious and energetic.

Lords of Strut (Ireland). This duo’s hilarious act centres on partner acrobatics performed as dancing, ladder walking briefly, and comedy contortion.

Natural Wings (Australia). This group are masters of Aerial Dance and the winners of the People’s Choice Award from the 2013 Toronto BuskerFest.

USA Break Dancers (U.S.). These guys are fantastic break dancers led by the charismatic Julio “Klown” Santiago from The Bronx.
