Jillian Groening is a dance artist, writer and administrator of mixed settler descent living on Treaty One Territory. Their writing has been published by The Dance Current, Dance International and The Journal for Curatorial Studies. They hold a BA(Hons) in dance from the School of Contemporary Dancers in affiliation with the University of Winnipeg and a masters in theatre and performance studies from York University (Toronto), where their SSHRC-funded research considers the artist’s book as site(s) of performance.
