Erin Joelle McCurdy (she/her) is a Toronto-based researcher, writer and editor and a former editor-in-chief of The Dance Current. Her writing has been featured in The Dance Current and in volumes on live arts curation and performance history in Canada. With a creative practice spanning dance, media, and curation, Erin has contributed to a range of exhibitions and events integrating performance and visual arts at MoMA (New York), Tate Modern (London), The Citadel (Toronto), Modern Literature and Culture Research Centre (Toronto) and Factory Media Centre (Hamilton). She holds an interdisciplinary PhD and MA in Communication and Culture and a BFA in Performance Dance.
