Ellie Sabourin was born and raised in the Ottawa/Gatineau area, and dance has always been an essential part her life. She began dancing at the age of four and continues to dance, choreograph and compete. Most recently, Sabourin was a dancer and choreographer for the varsity dance team at Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick, where she completed her undergraduate degree in history. Sabourin is currently a journalism student at Algonquin College in Ottawa and working toward combining her love of dance and writing.
