Arlan Vriens works in Toronto as a writer, violinist and academic, with roots in the performing arts communities of Montréal, St. John’s and Edmonton. He is currently completing his Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the University of Toronto, studying topics in contemporary music and historically-informed performance. Newly arrived to the city, he is highly receptive to restaurant suggestions.
