Improvisation
From the House of Mirth is a dance/opera inspired by Edith Wharton’s 1905 novel, choreographed by James Kudelka. The production is a true hybrid, where neither the dance nor the opera is intended to dominate. Writer Ursula Pflug responds to the Peterborough avant premiere performance here and then discusses the event with choreographer Bill James.
