UpStart

In the fall of 2013, local non-government agencies providing support and advocacy for people living with disabilities partnered with university researchers and artists. For two hours a week for ten weeks, people living with developmental disabilities and university students met for drama/dance workshops. The program, called UpStart, was facilitated by Professor Lisa Doolittle in Lethbridge, Alberta, along with Shelly Dunsford and Katie Musgrave. In May 2015, the group presents Unlimited, a physical theatre work for dancers and actors of all kinds of abilities.
