Soif

Ginette Laurin’s newest work, Soif, recalls the roots of her choreographic language. A dance centred on the impetus of movement, the piece depicts eight performers galvanized by the desire for fulfillment in their encounters with each other. Described as “a moving portrait of imperfect humanity,” the world premiere of Soif opens Danse Danse’s seventeenth season and celebrates thirty years of Laurin’s company, O Vertigo. The work will be shown October 2, 3 and 4 at the Théâtre Maisonneuve of Place des Arts.
