Kilter by Davidson Jaconello

Originally from Toronto, Davidson Jaconello danced with Alberta Ballet and Kevin O’Day Ballet in Mannheim, Germany, before turning to musical composition. A self-taught musician, he had his breakthrough when he composed the score for Alberta Ballet’s Yukichi Hattori’s Dump the Physical Memory in 2011. Since then Davidson has brought his unique fusion of classical and electronic music to dance pieces and plays across the world, including the National Theatre Mannheim, Delattre Dance Company and West Australian Ballet.

This composition, Kilter [soundcloud.com/davidsonjaconello/kilter] was recently created for a new work by Hattori. Find out more about how Jaconello’s work helps inspire Hattori in “The List” in the November/December 2015 issue.
