Echo

Toronto choreographer Christopher House draws inspiration from looking back as well as from looking forward. In this new work for Toronto Dance Theatre, House builds on images from his 2005 piece Echo’s Object, but the two pieces are quite different. They have to be. For one, Echo features an entirely new cast, and House, despite a choreographic career spanning over thirty years, is consistently interested in the now – with this group of dancers, with this new work.

Echo runs at Harbourfront Centre November 3 through 7.
