Basketball-ography, Anyone?

Harlem Globetrotters with STOMP By Emma Kerson

The Harlem Globetrotters are celebrating their ninetieth season with signature ball-spinning flare. The team recently made their way through six Canadian provinces on an eighteen-city tour. In case you missed their outright showmanship, here’s a playful video of them collaborating with STOMP, the percussion-meets-dance group made famous in the 1990s for using the body and ordinary objects to create visually intricate and innovative rhythms. Taking to an outdoor basketball court in Greenwich Village, not only do these eight STOMP dancers have skill with basketballs, these four Harlem Globetrotters have an effortless way with rhythms. Shall we call it basketball-ography?
