Aerial Airship

Femmes du Feu in their aerial dance show Airship. Inspired by steampunk, Airship imagines an alternative technology in the early explorations of flight, revealing the inner workings of a ship powered by human movement. Performed by co-artistic directors Sabrina Pringle and Holly Treddenick (read the Making Waves profile on the pair in the July/August 2013 issue) with Lara Ebata and Natalie Fullerton, Airship is directed by Marc Richard with music by James Zirco Fisher and premiered at the 2012 Winnipeg Fringe Festival.

dance made in canada/fait au canada presents Femmes du Feu’s newest work, The Water’s Edge, on August 14th, 16th and 17th at the Betty Oliphant Theatre, Toronto.
