With this year’s Queer Performance Camp, comes Antonia Baehr’s Abecedarium Bestiarium. The Berlin-based choreographer has created a unique piece based on short stories written for her by her friends. Each story correlates with an extinct animal the writer feels strongly about, all together acting as a sort of alphabet of extinct animal stories. In Antonia’s work lie a series of heterogenous choreographic miniatures threaded together, along with their respective affinities, to create the whole new species Abecedarium Bestiarium.
