How is Canada representing artists of the African diaspora?
 
Special guest and Turn Out Radio host Nicole Hamilton interviews Vivine Scarlett and Kevin Ormsby about this issue and the performances in Movement in Time, which took place on October 14 at Toronto’s Harbourfront Centre.  
 
This presentation continues the Canada 150 conversation with the point of view of contemporary issues such as social injustice, race relations, gender parity, spirituality and social stereotypes while also celebrating the many voices and physical expressions of the Diaspora that have contributed to the cultural fabric of Canada.
 
The Performance included works by Esie Mensah, Shameka Blake, Kevin Ormsby, Natasha Powell, Lua Shayenne Dance Company, Collecive of Black Artists and Ballet Creole.
